The winds of change are shifting. Isolation is fading and obligations of life are increasing as we return to a somewhat "normalized" routine. I can feel the shift emotionally, physically and spiritually. If you stop and feel the energy of the moment, you might feel it too. The air feels tight, conversations and interactions are sharp as we all struggle to regain our footing into "normal". If there was ever a time to grab hold of a vision journal practice it might just be NOW.
Vision Journalling can help us to slow down long enough for us to intentionally schedule in some much needed "ME" time. Quality time does not necessarily mean quantity of time. Scheduling in a mind break with focused silence can settle your mind and can increase your productivity. I have started a practice in my vision journal that I would like to share with you: Prayer Doodling: (Well... that is what I call it) Yep, I made "Prayer Doodling" up. But that is one of the great things about Vision Journalling. You can do YOU! What is it? Doodling a personal prayer, meditation, need, or thought. Add a moment of silence then settle into your prayer doodle and end with a positive mindset. 1. Set aside 10 minutes 2. Take a few cleansing breathes 3. Focus on the now and let your mind wander 4. Doodle a prayer 5. Let the words help set your intentions for the rest of the day
