Got questions? We've got answers.
Are dogs welcome on your hikes?
Dogs are welcome as long as they are welcome in the park we are hiking in and must be on a leash. We do encourage you to leave your dog at home if they don’t play well with others.
I am new to hiking, how do I know that the difficulty of the hike is right for me?
Check out our hiking difficulty explanations and then look for the corresponding symbols in the description of our hikes. Also, our hike leaders are skilled in evaluation the fitness and comfort levels of each group of hikers and we adjust the difficulty level and distance as needed.
I have small children who will be attending the hike with me, should I bring a stroller?
Depending on the difficulty, you may find strollers to be a benefit or cumbersome. We recommend leaving your stroller at home if your are planning to attend a moderate or difficult hike. Even with easy hikes, your stroller should be specialized stroller for rough terrain (larger wheels etc.)
I am looking for a more intense workout in nature, what does HIKEhoppers offer that I may enjoy?
Our HIKE & Sweat series is perfect for you! These hikes include higher intensity training while on your hike giving the benefits of and being outdoors and getting your heart pumping.
How much do the hikes cost?
Our monthly meet-up hikes (Hike&Sweat, The WildLife Hike, Hike&Connect, Hike&Read) are $15 per person. Special events, programs and getaways may be subject to a higher cost due to added expenses, time commitments, resources, and/or locations.
